Birds In Art exhibition 2011

Barn Swallows at Birds in Art 2011I have just returned from the Birds in Art exhibition at the Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, WI.  All the exhibiting artists and their guests were treated like royalty, with luncheons, dinner parties, cocktail reception and opening night gala.  The last afternoon was spent at the lakeside estate belonging to museum’s founding family, just hanging out with fellow artists, boating on the lake, and enjoying a goodbye BBQ.  By the end of the weekend we were all eager to get back to the studio, having been recharged with new ideas and inspirations.  I was just thrilled to be a part of it all, and hope I can jury in next year.
